The Academic Support Centre (ASC) exists to support all Yukon University students on-campus and by distance. You can receive help with writing, math, computers, and other academic skills. Our instructors are available to help by phone, text messaging, or video conference. This is the same service as our walk-in help, offered by distance.
IT services can help with all things technology related.
Starting a 'Help Desk ticket' is the best way to get help from IT Services at Yukon University. You can open a ticket if you are having trouble with WiFi, activating accounts, re-setting passwords, accessing Banner, or many other issues you may run into. Tickets can be opened online and IT Services staff will respond quickly to help.

The Learning Assistance Centre (LAC) offers help with developing learning and study habits that can help you succeed in your course(s). For example, they can help with systems for time management, or note-taking techniques.
The LAC also arranges accessibility services and academic accommodations.
The Library team can help you find resources for your research papers. There are books in the Innovation Commons, as well as thousands of articles online.
The YukonU Library also offers an instant messaging service to students. You can click on the 'ASK US' on the Library's web page, and you'll be connected directly to a librarian to answer your questions.
Banner is a software program which many colleges and universities use. You will use this program to register for courses, access your taxation forms, and check you marks.
Visit YukonU's registration page for detailed instructions on how to use Banner for registration, or access Banner directly.
Note: Banner uses the same YukonU login/password that you use for Office 365 & Moodle.
This is when you speak to a faculty, or staff member to discuss the plan for which courses you are going to take each semester.
