Whether you are a new or returning student, studying online or in-person, you are welcome to join us for the Fall 2025 YukonU Orientation Day on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 9am to 4pm.

You will not want to miss this awesome day as we have got a lot planned for you including a warm welcome from our staff and students, a campus tour, healthy lunch, a chance to meet other students, fun activities and a draw for some great prizes! BBQ Lunch & Afternoon Fun!

Join us on the front Quad for an afternoon packed with great food and fun energy — all in support of the Student Refugee Program

  • Grab a burger (or veggie option!) hot off the grill at our BBQ
  • Enjoy classic lawn games like cornhole, sack races, and three-legged races — or challenge yourself with traditional Arctic Sports, thanks to the Yukon Aboriginal Sport Circle.
  • Don’t miss a special appearance from the Arctic Winter Games mascot and check out their info booth to learn more about the upcoming Games.

New student checklist
This checklist will help guide you through the start of your studies at Yukon University:

 Refer to your Letter of Acceptance to confirm the first day of your classes.

 Familiarize yourself with other Important Dates.

 Register for your courses online. Be sure to register early as enrolment in most courses is limited and courses may fill quickly.

 Sign up for Fall 2025 Orientation Day

 Refer to your Letter of Acceptance for payment deadline fees. For more information on payments, withdrawals and refunds please refer to our money matters page.

 Apply to Campus Housing online

 Purchase text book(s) from the Campus Store online, or in-person at Ayamdigut.

 Order your student ID card.

 Apply for financial supports and student awards.

 Explore your online learning tools: Moodle, Office365, Zoom, etc.

 Familiarize yourself with University expectations.

 Connect with your YukonU Student Union. The student union is here to support you, please reach out at any time!
