WFA 011 - Wilderness First Aid/CPR-C
For individuals that work and/or spend significant time in a wilderness environment, or lead groups in a professional capacity.
This course qualifies for the 40hr Wilderness First Aid 2018 Guiding Regulations for Yukon’s National Parks.
Please note that this course is taught in a 50% indoor and a 50% outdoor setting, regardless of weather. It will require greater physical activity than typical first aid training, you may wish to wear old clothes. You will be required to attend 100% of the training. There is no prerequisite training, although we encourage participants to have taken Standard First Aid/CPR-C prior to this course. This training is intense, long days and there is a lot to cover in 40hrs!
