WFA 011 - Wilderness First Aid/CPR-C
For individuals that work and/or spend significant time in a wilderness environment, or lead groups in a professional capacity.
This course qualifies for the 40hr Wilderness First Aid 2018 Guiding Regulations for Yukon’s National Parks.
Please note that this course is taught in a 50% indoor and a 50% outdoor setting, regardless of weather. It will require greater physical activity than typical first aid training, you may wish to wear old clothes. There is no prerequisite training, although we encourage participants to have taken Standard First Aid/CPR-C prior to this course. This training is intense, long days and there is a lot to cover in 40hrs!
