HRAC CE06 - Planning for Critical Roles: A Succession Planning Workshop

When a key employee leaves an organization, whether in leadership, administration, operations, or technical roles, it can disrupt far more than just one position. Without a plan in place, organizations risk losing knowledge, momentum, and stability.

This practical, half-day workshop introduces a clear and accessible approach to succession planning across your organization. You’ll learn how to identify critical roles, assess workforce risks, and begin preparing for transitions before they happen.

Using a simple framework and real-world examples, you’ll start mapping out succession considerations for key positions in your own workplace. Along the way, you’ll apply practical tools to support knowledge transfer, employee development, and workforce continuity. Leave with a stronger understanding of how to reduce disruption, support your team, and take the first steps toward a more resilient organization.
