HRAC 002 - Employee and Labour Relations

This course delivers the legislative and regulatory standards required for HR practice in employee and labour relations. It is an introduction to the economic, political, legal and social aspects of union-management and employee relations. We will explore contemporary issues in labour relations, legislations and union organization and structure.

Designed for human resource professionals, managers and leaders who manage, recruit, hire, discipline, dismiss, or promote and support employees in an organization. Learn the legislation, regulations, and standards relevant to employment and Human Resource Management in Canada and Yukon, including: Human Rights, Employment Standards, Occupational Health and Safety Acts and their relevance to both unionized and non-unionized workplaces.
