Giving back to her community.
Born and raised in the Yukon, Miriam understands the importance of relationships and connection in healthcare within tight-knit community.
After working as a home support worker with the Yukon Government for 10 years, she gained an intimate understanding of what it means to give back and offer meaningful support. Knowing she had more to offer, Miriam and chose to pursue an education in practical nursing with Yukon University.
Having graduated in May, Miriam is now as she envisioned, entrenched as an essential component of her community, and giving back in an inspiring way.
