This course is ideal for beginners with little to no prior Spanish experience who want to build practical language skills for travel, work, or personal enrichment including:

Upon successful completion, this course will teach participants how to:

• Use basic Spanish phrases and greetings to navigate everyday situations.
• Communicate effectively when traveling in Spanish-speaking countries, including essential vocabulary for arrival and transportation.
• Describe people, places, and objects using appropriate adjectives and sentence structures.
• Discuss family relationships and personal connections with the correct vocabulary.
• Express preferences and likes/dislikes in Spanish to talk about hobbies and interests.
• Use language related to leisure activities, including how to plan outings such as going to the beach.
• Navigate shopping experiences by using vocabulary and phrases for markets and transactions.
• Use food-related vocabulary to comfortably engage in conversations about meals and dining in Spanish-speaking cultures.
