“I just love being out in the bush, and with mother nature. I feel like I learn so much better when I’m outside rather than in a classroom, and so I really appreciate the field courses a lot.
I like to go to the gym and the elders lounge, taking advantage of those. Passing my friends in the hall and classmates, and catching up and saying “hi”, or “how was the exam?”.”

Emma is living her dream job as an Assistant Natural Resources Officer with the Yukon Government, Department of Energy, Mines and Resources. We can rest assured knowing we are in good hands with Yukon born working to protect our resources.
Emma could always be found in the library working hard, lifting weights in the gym, and spending time in the Samay Thìa Harry Allen Elders Lounge on campus.
