Yukon University has partnered with the Northern Scientific Training Program (NSTP) to support students in furthering their research interests while meeting the needs of Canadians.
NSTP provides supplementary funding to students studying at universities and college's across Canada. The program is administered by Polar Knowledge Canada to foster science and technology in Canada’s North.
Applications are due in November of each year - please watch this page for date confirmation. Applications need to be submitted via the NSTP site and an electronic copy emailed to nstp@yukonu.ca.
The NSTP also has a student manual to support students in understanding and preparing an NSTP research report and/or application for funds.
