Feb 27 - Academic disruption plan approved

Dear Students, 

As your YukonU Student Union President has shared with you, we are pleased that at its February 26th special meeting, Senate approved the Winter 2026 academic disruption plan.

The plan is posted here and is available to students and the public.

Students played a key role in ensuring the plan minimized disruption to their studies. This process underscored how important student voices are in the academic governance of YukonU, and we are very grateful to you for engaging in this conversation so deeply.

It is important to note that we are not currently in a labour disruption, and the Winter 2026 disruption plan is not currently active. We are hopeful that we will avoid a labour disruption through ratification of the tentative collective agreement.
