The university will update this page as new information becomes available and will also continue to provide you with updates by email.

Meeting with student union

On Friday, February 6, 2026, the university’s Interim President Dr. Shelagh Rowles, Interim Provost and Vice-President Academic Dr. Bronwyn Hancock, and Registrar and Associate Vice-President, Student Life Erin McMichael met with Yukon University Student Union President Mandeep Singh and VP, Student Life Kathy Musonda to listen to concerns and questions gathered by the Student Union related to the possible labour disruption. The university is grateful to the Student Union for sharing these perspectives with its administration. The university is committed to continue meeting with the Yukon University Student Union and to provide additional information to support students.
