SOCI 227 - Research Methods in the Social Sciences

This course introduces the theory and logic of research, the ethics that guide the research process, and the range of research methods generally employed in the social sciences are introduced. Emphasis is placed on providing practical knowledge of the research process and on preparing students to conduct their own research project.

Prerequisite(s): ENGL 100 and one of the following: ANTH 140, CRIM 101, MATH 105, PSYC 100, PSYC 101, SOCI 100, SOCI 103, SOCI 104, WGST 100.
