RENR 307 - Environmental Assessment Principles and Methods
An overview of the fundamental principles and concepts of environmental protection in Canada and Yukon, focusing on the measurement and mitigation of impacts through environmental impact assessments. Topics will include: history and continuing evolution of the assessment process, opportunities for public participation, information requirements and recommendation process.
Registration restricted to students in the B.Sc. in Environmental and Conservation Sciences program. This course is also available as RRMT 238. Non-B.Sc. ENCS students interested in taking RENR 307 should instead register in RRMT 238.
