PADM 613 - Public Sector Employment Law

Explores the history and background of the employment and labor laws
covering government and non-profit employees. Collective bargaining will
be examined in the context of managing in unionized public sector
workplaces. Students will develop a working knowledge of Alaska
statutes, regulations and case law as an example of state and local
government law in relation to federal law.

Prerequisite: Admission to the M.P.A. Program or instructor's approval.
