NS 435 - Management of Aboriginal Natural Resources

Application of knowledge of resource management to traditional Native economic activities, especially hunting, fishing and trapping. Conservation problems which developed with the spread of the commercial economy will be analyzed by examining Aboriginal and European approaches to resource management. The use of conservation to rationalize the re-allocation of traditional resources is examined.
