MATH 030A - Basic Mathematics Part 1
Math 030A covers operations with whole numbers, integers and fractions, and introduces the fundamental concept of algebra. Together with Math 030B, these courses will prepare students for Math 051, 050 or an equivalent grade 11 algebra.
Math 030A and Math 030B together are equivalent to Math 030 or Foundations of Mathematics and Pre-calculus 10 or Intermediate Developmental Mathematics in the BC Adult Basic Education (ABE) Articulation Handbook.
Prerequisite(s): Minimum of 65% in Math 020 or Math 9 or equivalent, or suitable scores on the math placement assessment.
