This workshop introduces a whole-brain approach to leadership that demystifies and enhances our potential to achieve and sustain peak organizational performance. Leaders will learn to recognize and foster the concepts of abundant and diverse thinking, emotional intelligence, and mental resiliency at work. Explore the power of optimism and resiliency in the achievement of your career and organizational goals in becoming a leader capable of bringing out the best in yourself and others.
This workshop will run 1.5 hrs. with approximately an hour of content with room for discussion and questions during and at the end of the workshop.
You will learn to:
Recognize how the brain and body connection influences leadership capacity.
Recognize mental resiliency in the workplace and examine how the four pillars of the EQEX resiliency framework improves leadership effectiveness.
Examine the roles that abundant and diverse thinking, emotional intelligence and reflective inquiry play, throughout your work interactions, to foster peak performance.
Recognize and understand the five composite scales of emotional intelligence.
Explore tools and personalized training to find your motivation and ignite your ability to establish a workplace culture of innovation and mental resilience.
Instructor Nicole Morgan has diverse professional experience of more than 30 years as an educator and executive leader within the public service. She is a certified emotional intelligence consultant and a certified professional executive leadership coach. She holds a Master of Educational Leadership, a Post Master’s Certificate in Counselling, and a Post-Graduate certificate in Transformative Education Leadership.
