JUST CE123 - Steady In The Storm: Building Resilience For Changing Times
Over a day and a half, you will learn to empower yourself and others to cope with the personal, relational, professional and societal challenges that come with uncertain times. Come participate in an intensive process of discovering how you can tune your inner compass to point towards ever-expanding resiliency.
This workshop introduces participants to the theory and practice of resiliency, including topics like:
• Historical and philosophical approaches to resiliency
• Personal ecology and maintaining well-being at all times
• Personal mastery as a path to resilience
• Building effective relationships, partnerships, teams
• Emotional intelligence and fundamentals of positive psychology
• The role of effective communication and teamwork in promoting resilience
• Transformational change
Along the way, participants will not only be building their resiliency toolbox, but also learning how their attitude may help them unlock their full potential and affect change more easily, while enjoying more balanced lives. We will introduce you to knowledge and skills, based on a blend of western science and Traditional Knowledge from cultures around the world, that are directly relevant to cross-cultural workplaces.
The facilitators will use a range of tools and techniques for various cognitive learning styles, including presentations, storytelling, conversation, art and music. Join us in creating a fun, comfortable and empowering learning environment where everyone’s skills and abilities are valued.
