FINA 052 - Traditional Footwear
The focus of this course is to design, decorate and construct traditional northern indigenous footwear. Using the knowledge and skills learned in the Beadwork and Sewing courses, students will apply pattern making, beading, embroidery, basic stitching techniques and appliqué to construct a pair of Yukon-style moccasins that adhere to quality control standards developed for this project.
This program is restricted to students in the Yukon First Nations Arts program
