EL 224 - Weaving Place into Practice
Returning and revisiting our understandings of curriculum and pedagogy, we explore ways that land and place can be woven into all practices with children. Together with land, we practice active investigation and inquiry projects and advocate for learning with place. Our collective reflections and experiences foster democratic learning communities that uphold multiple worldviews. You are invited to situate your practice within the context of place, taking up responsibility to reconciliation and your role as pedagogical leader and agent of change.
This course is restricted to students in the Early Learning program
Prerequisite(s): successful completion of all required 100-level courses including ENGL 100 & EL 222 or with program permission
