Inclusive Classrooms Series: Hyflex Check-In!

Teaching & Learning Event

Are you teaching a HyFlex class this term? How is it going?

In this informal chat, we invite faculty teaching HyFlex classes to come together, share experiences, and support each other to create inclusive learning spaces. If you like, here are some questions that might be worth considering during our time together:

  1. What is working well for you?

  2. With what are you struggling?

  3. What does an inclusive HyFlex classroom look like?

  4. How might you leverage student support to encourage interaction and engagement?

  5. How are you making learning materials accessible to all students?

YukonU defines HyFlex as: Courses are delivered both in-person and online at the same time by the same faculty member. Students can then choose for each and every class meeting whether to show up for class in person or to join it online. The underlying design ethos behind the HyFlex Model is flexibility and student choice.
