Lost an Item

Contact Safety and Security Services immediately to arrange for item recovery.

• Found items are stored for 30 days.

• After 30 days, unclaimed items will be donated to a local charitable organization or disposed of responsibly.

Lost Your Campus ID Card

Report your lost Campus ID card to Safety and Security Services immediately.

• If found, the card will be returned to the Office of the Registrar.

• You will be contacted if your card is recovered.

• Unclaimed cards will be destroyed after 30 days.

For replacement information, contact the Office of the Registrar.

Stolen Item

If you believe your item has been stolen:

• A Security Officer will complete an incident report.

• Please provide as much information as possible, as a Security Number (SN) is required for RCMP follow-up.

• Once the report is complete, the Manager will submit the information to the RCMP.

• CCTV footage may be reviewed when necessary.

If You Find an Item

If you find a valuable item such as a:

 💻 Laptop

 📱 Phone

 🔑 Keys

 👛 Wallet

Please contact Safety and Security Services to arrange pick-up or drop-off.

Help Prevent Theft on Campus

 ✅ Don't leave valuables unattended, including laptops when stepping away briefly.

 ✅ Report suspicious people or activities to Safety and Security Services.

 ✅ Be aware of your surroundings and lock doors when leaving valuables behind.

 ✅ Protect electronic devices by engraving them with an identifying number, such as your driver's licence number.
