Research in Progress talk: Climate change risk - it's everyone's business!

Climate change is impacting businesses throughout the Yukon. This talk will explore how climate related risks are characterized by Yukon businesses as demonstrated by records in the Yukon Environmental and Socioeconomic Assessment Board registry. Presenters Avery Zammit and Brian Horton will then discuss other forms of climate related risk that businesses may be less conscious of in the Territory.

Avery Zammit conducts research on climate change adaptation, resilience-building, and climate policy across northern and sub-Arctic contexts in his Research Professional role

Brian Horton leads the Climate Change Research group at YukonU Research Centre, bringing a multidisciplinary professional background to pragmatic solution-finding fit for the Yukon.

Co-hosted by YukonU and Yukon Science Institute

Talks are open and free to the public, students, staff and faculty.
