Teaching & Learning Speaker Series: Yukon Wild School founder Jesse Jewell

The Teaching & Learning team is excited to host Jesse Jewell, founder and Teaching Principal at the Yukon Wild School, and YukonU sessional instructor for YNTEP’s Science Education (Pre-K to Grade 5) course, for our third Speaker Series event of 2022/23.  

Please join us, and Jesse, for a lunchtime exploration of what post-secondary institutions can learn from alternative models of K-12 education. What is the value of questioning and reimagining “the box” of education, at any level? How could the Yukon Wild School’s approaches, which include outdoor and experiential learning, service education, and holistic learning experiences, translate to the post-secondary environment?
