Convyta Indigenous Student Award
Convyta Partners Limited Partnership wishes to make $1,000 available to Yukon University students registered in a Capstone course within the Bachelor of Business Administration or the Bachelor of Arts in Indigenous Governance programs.
The amount awarded to each recipient will depend on the number of applications received and selected by the Student Award Capstone Subcommittee.
Convyta Partners was formed when two companies, George & Bell Consulting and Bilsland Griffith Benefit Administrators, joined together in 2025. They work with various pension and benefit plans, Indigenous trusts, endowments, foundations and other investment entities, and provide advice to Indigenous Trustees, boards, committees, unions and other key decision makers. They feel fortunate to have relationships with a number of Yukon based organizations, including several Yukon First Nation Trusts.
Eligibility
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person
- Be of Indigenous ancestry
- Be registered in Yukon University’s Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor of Arts in Indigenous Governance program
- Be registered in a Capstone course
- Provide a brief letter outlining:
- the topic of your Capstone project
- how the project will support your Capstone partner (eg., business, government, community, NGO, etc.)
- how this award will support the successful completion of your project (eg., travel costs to a rural community to interview Elders, childcare support during a weekend symposium, conference registration fees, etc.)
