The Associate Registrar, Records and Registrations is a leadership role within the Office of the Registrar, responsible for overseeing academic records, registration, scheduling, and related functions that are central to Yukon University’s academic operations.

This role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of student records while delivering efficient, fair, and student-centered services. The Associate Registrar plays a key role in supporting academic delivery, safeguarding institutional standards, and contributing to the University’s growth and reputation through strong operational leadership and collaboration across campus.

The successful candidate will be a strategic, service-oriented leader with deep experience in post-secondary records and registration environments. They will bring sound judgement, strong people leadership skills, and the ability to balance operational excellence with continuous improvement in a complex academic setting.

What You’ll Do
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for records, registration, scheduling, and financial aid functions
• Ensure accurate, compliant, and accessible academic records in alignment with policies, regulations, and privacy requirements
• Lead and support a high-performing team, fostering a culture of service, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with academic and administrative partners to align processes with program needs and student success
• Analyze enrolment, registration, and records data to inform planning, policy development, and decision-making
• Represent the Office of the Registrar on institutional initiatives, committees, and external partnerships

What You Bring
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Education, Business Administration, or Public Administration
• Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in a post-secondary Registrar’s Office or related student services area
• At least two years of leadership or supervisory experience

Skills and Knowledge:
• Strong knowledge of academic records, registration, and enrolment management processes
• Experience interpreting and applying academic regulations and policies
• Familiarity with student information systems (Banner preferred)
• Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills
