Arctic Winter Games 2026
March 7th through to March 14th, 2026

The Yukon is proud to host the 2026 Arctic Winter Games, celebrating excellence in sport, our northern cultures and traditions, and creating lasting legacies for the benefit of future generations. The Arctic Winter Games is a high profile, circumpolar sport competition for athletes from across the circumpolar north. The Games provide an opportunity to strengthen sport development in the participants jurisdictions, to promote the benefits of sport and friendly competition for developing athletes, to build partnerships and lasting memories, and to promote and share cultural values from northern regions within Canada and around the world.

If you are interested in helping to provide excellent service and nourishment to participants in the Games, the university has a variety of opportunities to work in the Food Services Division throughout the Games. Shifts will be available commencing March 7th through to March 14th, 2026, inclusive.
