This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting administrative processes to ensure the delivery of responsive, high-quality industrial safety programming in line with the University’s mission and according to direction from client groups. The industrial safety programming coordinator also performs other related duties to enable the division to serve its clients effectively and fulfil its mandate within Yukon University.

Qualifications include a certificate in office or business administration, communications, or equivalent, and related office experience. Experience with industrial safety programming is considered an asset. Applicants will have the ability to multitask various office procedures, including basic bookkeeping, Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and liaising with client groups to plan and facilitate the delivery of industrial safety courses. The ideal candidate must have a working knowledge and understanding of working in a cross-cultural environment. The position utilizes Banner and FAST regularly for a variety of tasks, so proficiency in the use of data systems would be considered an asset. 

This is an on-site position and cannot be worked remotely.
