The Yukon University Earth Sciences program is looking for 1-2 sessional instructor(s) to teach its second-year Structural Geology course (GEOL 208) in the Fall 2025 term.
The instructor(s) will be responsible for:
• lecture instruction (3 hours per week),
• a hands-on laboratory component (3 hours per week) that will include field-based exercises in the Whitehorse area.

The lecture and laboratory components may be split between two instructors, but a single instructor is preferred. Compensation for lecture section instruction reflects a sessional hire with fixed stipend ($5750-$6500 depending on instructor credentials). Lab instruction is structured as an hourly casual contract ($39.18-$44.08/hour).
Applicants should provide a CV or resume and brief cover letter outlining previous experience in structural geology and post-secondary education. Applicants must have a M.Sc. or higher credential in geoscience or a related field.
