Yukon Fish and Game Association Award
The Yukon Fish and Game Association (YFGA) would like to provide a $500 award to a student in one of the following Yukon University programs: Renewable Resources Management diploma; Northern Environmental and Conservation Sciences degree, Northern Outdoor and Environmental Studies diploma; or the Northern Science diploma.
Donor
YFGA exists for the purpose of educating the public on participating in the environment in a responsible manner, specifically: better wildlife management; improving wildlife habitat; and promoting sportsmanship.
Eligibility
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Have resided in the Yukon for the past three months
- Be a current member of the Yukon Fish and Game Association
- Be registered full-time at Yukon University in any year of the following programs - Renewable Resources Management diploma; Northern Environmental and Conservation Sciences degree, Northern Outdoor and Environmental Studies diploma; or the Northern Science diploma
- Write a paragraph describing your goals and what you want to do with this education

Typed essay
- Indicate how long you have lived in the Yukon as of the date of your award application
- Copy of current membership card of the Yukon Fish and Game Association
NOTE: Students with a passion for conservation will be given priority.
